Two lifelong readers and the people behind Read In Ten.
We both have early memories of the same thing: a parent sitting with us, sounding out words, making the letters come alive. Neither of us knew it had a name, we just knew that someone we loved taught us to read, and it stuck.
We both ended up in education. And somewhere along the way, we became friends, the kind who trade book recommendations, get fired up about a great chapter in book club, and stay up too late talking about what we're reading. Books have always been the thing that connects us.
Read In Ten came out of a question we kept circling: why does learning to read feel so overwhelming for parents when the most powerful thing they can do is so simple? The research is clear, short, consistent, parent led reading practice works. But nobody was packaging that in a way that felt doable for a busy family. So we built it ourselves.
